Growing up in a fundamentalist evangelical church, my belief system was very narrow in terms of who and what “god” is and where and how to find “him.” I no longer believe many of the things I once was taught. Pipe Dreams is a poem about the things I do believe, the places and experiences where I have found “god” as an adult.
